We had a great day fishing on the reef with Best Bet today. We wanted yellow tail snapper and we landed 23 of them with a bonus mutton snapper. Jason and Joe made it easy for those of us that hadn’t fished for a year, reminding us what to do. We come back every year and fish with Best Bet, Thanks so much to our captain Jason and to Joe!!!

We went out with Captain Joe, what an amazing experience. He was extremely knowledgeable to allow my husband to catch two Permits, and very concerned to make sure the were released properly to make sure they were safe. Communication between Joe and the other local captains was nice to hear, he was very well respected. We also had our Springer Spaniel along....he wanted to fish as well...Joe was so patient when Winchester got into the bait bucket and released the very expensive crabs. We went to the sandbar to let Winchester swim too...great day!

Our family had a great time fishing with this outfit!! Definitely will be back!! 🎣👍

We had a terrific time with this crew! I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to go out and have a fun time with lots of catch to bring home for dinner. Our family took a four hour charter with three boys (ages 14, 10 & 7). Captain Joe & Cody were knowledgeable, answered the millions of questions my kids had and let the kids be thoroughly involved. We caught fish less than 5 minutes of putting our rods in the water. I would absolutely fish with them again!

Excellent fishing charter with Captain Joe! Highly recommend you will have a blast. He’s knowledgeable and patient and did everything he could to make sure 3 “16 yr old” boys had a great time.

Jason and his team are fantastic. They were flexible with timing given some rough weather, and Joe listened to exactly what we wanted to do. We caught some great snapper, mackerel, rainbow runner, and capped the time hauling in an awesome barracuda. Would highly recommend. Also to note - I took out my wife and three kids, all of which have varying interests in fishing. Best Bet made sure everyone had a great time.

Joe and Dustin were great, had dinner for 3 nights plus leftovers! Also had a few close ones, great half day fishing the reef and wreck.

Great fishing trip with a hard working crew. I’ve never had a bad trip with these guys. They use top notch gear and constantly change tactics or adjust to the conditions.

Great experience for a half day. Thomas and Justin took us to a wreck to fish in 120 ft water. The crew was incredibly accommodating to novices and were relentless in making sure the trip didn't disappoint. Ended with 7 different types of fish. Thomas filleted them all perfectly at the dock, and we went home with the freshest and most delicious fish you can possibly get.

Great 4 hour inshore experience. Guide put us on fish right away. He managed the kids poles, the boat, bait and friendliness perfect.

Captain Long and his crew are great! They fish hard and know how to have fun. With their local knowledge, they truly are the best bet!

Jason & Thomas were fantastic! We had such a great time fishing with them-from the time we set off until we returned, it was nonstop excitement! We had our teenager and our 23 y/o with us and they are still talking about the catches from that day. We will definitely rebook with Best Bet for our next vacation to the Keys!

Joe took my son and I out for an in-shore adventure and we had a blast. Joe was great to work with and made sure we had a great time - we filled our cooler with filets and then went on a shark fishing run, would definitely hit Joe up again if we are in Marathon - Best Bet is $ in the bank

I went reef fishing with my wife and her college friend Thomas and Joe were fantastic put us on yellowtail and cero mackerel we had such a good time I charted Joe fot inshore snook got 1 lost 1 but limited out on mangrove snapper will definitely recommend them to everyone

Great day caught tons of fish off the reef including 5 big black grouper which we had to throw back. Then had a sailfish hit our baits.

Great trip. Went to the hump and Captain Thomas put us on the Tuna. Then inside for grouper, rainbow runners, yellow tail, jacks. Lots of action. Captain made the adjustment when live bait wasn’t working and got us on the fish. It was a great day! Going back for a Mahi trip. Mate Christian was great always had everything ready and totally impressed with his knot skills, super fast! Thanks!!

Staying at Key Colony beach and booked a morning trip with best bet. After a rough day on the water on Sunday, we were looking for calmer waters to catch dinner. Our guide was super nice and extremely knowledgeable! Got us onto plenty of snapper, along with catching many other species including grouper and mackerel! We will be booking again with them the next time we come down!

We had a great day fishing! Tom and Joe got us on the fish and we filled the boat. My son even caught a 200 lb shark. What a day! Highly recommend these guys!

My wife and I booked this trip with Best Bet at the last minute the day before our trip. This was a part of our delayed honeymoon as we looked forward to a day of fishing in the beautiful waters off Marathon Key. We had a great experience with Thomas our Captain and Joe. They made us very comfortable and we had a great time on the water. We caught two Mutton Red Snapper and one monster Grouper. We also took advantage of their recommendations of taking our catch to Lazy Days, as they deliciously prepared some of our catch for dinner that evening. Thanks again for a great day on the water.

Best Guide Service in the area! Put our group right on the fish, the Guide Tom was absolutely Right about the Conditions and Techniques to use to guarantee our catch. Joe and Tom worked together like a "well oiled machine" to ensure our group of 6 had the best day fishing, most productive and the most FUN day out of an entire week fishing in the Keys! I recently went out “fishing”with Jason aka Best Bet Sportfishing and had an amazing time. This was my first time doing a charter fishing experience and it was almost as good as….Anyways, Jason and his staff are the real deal and he has a great demeanor to enjoy 8 hours on the water with. Captain Daniel and David were amazing today! We had a great time and caught some nice fish they were both great hosts and very knowledgeable of their trade. We would recommend them to anyone! We took our catch to be cooked and the chef commented on how well the fish were filleted…..thanks again!

Literally the best day we've ever had on the water! As Florida natives we know our way around but Daniel (aka Cuz) and Miles (aka Max) took us to a prime spot where we caught huge Mutton Snapper! Even if we hadn’t caught fish it still would’ve been an awesome day! I recommend Best Bet fishing to anyone, whether experienced or not, it’s totally worth it! Definitely the charter of a lifetime!

Great day of fishing with Cuz and Miles. Hit the reef where we pulled up lots of Yellowfin and a huuuge Baracuda and then off to Sailfish where we hooked into a couple and landed a monster snapper. Great experience overall, we fished 4+ days with them spread over a week and even though the weather was less than ideal Cuz and Miles put us on the fish. Jason was very good about working out schedules to miss the worst of the weather and still give us a chance to get on the water. Caught some of everything. Biggest yellowtail I've ever seen, great Muttons, Cobia, Mack's, Sailfish etc. Would definitely recommend Jason and the boys if you want someone to put you on the fish.

Tom and Alfred were the best! They took us out for 8 hours of fishing and not a blu did we catch a lot, but they made it super enjoyable and fun for all of us!! We will definitely be using them again in the future! Thank you!!!

Have been on many charters in the keys, these guys know what they are doing, put usright on some great yellowtail, hooked up with a shark, kingfish, and jack, they fight right to the end to make sure your having a good time! Even hung out for a couple hrs after with the crew. Very highly recommended!!

These guys can really put you on the fish. Been on several Cherters and never had a better day than with Tommy and Cuz. These guys know what they are doing and they have fun doing it.

I don't know how to put into words how much fun we had! Conner and Tom know there stuff, we asked for a sail fish and they delivered! They truly love fishing and honestly care about the experience you have. They were patient teachers and would get so excited when we would hook into a fish. We will always come back to this crew! It was a some what windy day and being our 1st time in the keys we were not sure about gong out fishing, but our Captain Daniel and 1st mate Tommy assured us it would be a good trip. they took us out to the reef, and even though it was a little rough it tuned out great, we caught a bunch of yellow tail snapper. We caught a few other types of fish as well, and even had a sail fish on the line for a little while. Over all a great experience and then they recommended where to take out catch to have it prepared and that was a great experience as well. Thank you Daniel and Tommy for a great morning of fishing.

My family and I went out yesterday morning with Brian and Miles for a half day reef/reck. These guys were exactly what I was hoping for, professional and chill at the same time. First stop was full of yellowtail, caught a few dozen and a couple mackerel. After the yellowtail moved on we jetted our to a reck where we snagged some really good size mutton, averaged 15lbs. I’d definitely recommend these guys.

Captain Jason and his crew always do a great job of putting us on fish, and making us feel like part of the team. Always a great experience out on the water.

Went there during winter and enjoyed fishing with the guys. Experience with them was just speechless. couldn't take many pictures cause enjoyed every time.

My Family and I went to Best Bet Sportfishing on Vacation in the Keys. I can’t say enough about how expert they were and how fun to fish with. They knew where to go, how to put us on the fish and made it a trip of a lifetime. I have never imagined catching so many fish. It was awesome. If your looking for that kind of experience I would call them, they don’t miss.

Great time with these guys. They love being out there and catching fish, and clearly have a lot of experience doing all kinds of fishing. Can't say enough about our experience with them. Will be back for sure!

Jason Long really knows his stuff. He told me several time when i had a bite before i even new it. Capt. Jason Long and mate Bill took good care of all of us. Thank you both for this memorable fishing trip.

I highly recommend these guys for a great family adventure - Brian and Wayne were patient in helping us learn to fish and we were very successful IMO. Very professional and took time to explain about the reef and fishing in the Keys - Don't go anywhere else if you want to have a good time - pick a good day also that is not windy.

The name is right, they're the Best Bet. I definetly suggest this company Captain Wayne and Captain Brian are awesome guys, fun, and great fisherman. Go on your first day and you wont be visiting the fish market during your whole trip. Ill be back every time i visit marathon.
